My hope is that this thread will not be about her appearance, gender questions, style, etc. She can write choruses that are catchy as fuck. That is all.

I love Lady GaGa! I'm a 50-something year old married guy BUT I like her video's,catchy tunes & staring at her bizarre getups.

I'm gonna hijack my own thread here. Anyone ever hear the song "Police Car" by Larry Wallis? Pretty sweet.

"So Happy I Could Die" > "Paparazzi" > "Bad Romance" > "Poker Face," but all four of them are pretty awesome little anthems.

Lady Gaga can indeed write a hell of a chorus.

It's an act. It's total performance art. Not my cup of tea, but she damn well pulls it off.

If it's not an act, then what is it?

It's a total act. She's used to be a Thoughtful Piano Songstress like Vanessa Carlton, then she decided to go all avant-garde and stuff. She says she's inspired by David Bowie, which intrigues me: she probably has the musical chops to pull off her own equivalent to Low.

The closest I've gotten was Kid Cudi's "Make Her Say" which samples "Poker Face". It has Kanye and Common on the track. Pretty good...

"bluffin with my muffin" is one of the all time greatest lyrics.
