I don't really like PF that much and i don't know all the history, but Roger Waters seems like a gigantic asshole

We saw him at the UC last year and he absolutely came across as a bitter, preachy egomaniac.

he's also clearly mentally ill and has been for a long long time.

He's a better version of Van Dyke Parks. He's a lyricist. Can't sing (really never could), and can't play. He's at best Bob Dylan. And I can't stand Dylan.

All this stuff makes it all the more amazing that Floyd reunited in 2005.

Waters and Pete Townshend have both become insufferable douchebags, refusing to give any credit to the bandmates who helped make them famous (some who are now dead). Ozzy Osbourne also showed his greed by refusing to fairly pay drummer Bill Ward, but he's so addled it was probably Sharon who made that decision.

Wright was fired or quit during the early Wall recording. After that he was only let back as a contracted player. Maybe Gilmour let him all the way back in the 90s.

Wright was fully back in the band for The Division Bell but not A Momentary Lapse of Reason.

Roger Waters is right about Ukraine but he's still insufferable, and it's astonishing the extent to which Pink Floyd was greater than the sum of its parts.
