He never really hurt Chavez, though. Reminded me of a Manny fight, but Manny used to get these types of bigger guys out of there. I don't know what this says about a GGG fight. GGG does leave his head open a lot, but, then again, every one of his punches is lethal. |

Funny, I would not have considered JCJ a serious contender even before this fight. Guy smokes weed like he is in a rap video and just fucks around a lot. Good test taking on a bigger hard head for 12 rounds, though. Survived, but could not get him out of there. |

Exactly what I expected from Chavez Jr. I've found it hilarious how he's suddenly become a good guy against the evil Alvarez just because so many people are fanatical about Golovkin. Alvarez and Golden Boy have been cowards for sure, but that doesn't mean you have to turn around and pretend Chavez Jr has ever been any good as a boxer or some kind of hero known for taking challenges. I mean Liam Smith also called Alvarez out on his BS, but no one ever pretended he stood any chance of winning. |

That tomato can only averaged one punch per round and Canelo still couldn't put him down. Golovkin might knock Alvarez out and then go on to collude with Trump. |

It actually took a Light Heavyweight in Fonfara, but, again, I think that was after a long break wherein when Chavez was enjoying the substances mightily. Dude must have a 1 inch thick skull. |
