I was a big Tyson fan in the late 80s. If he stayed with Cus' team and not been corrupted by Don King, he would have been 70-0. Poor Mike. At least he turned his life around and seems happy. But what could have been. Mike SHOULD HAVE gone down in history as the greatest ever. :shaking:

Ehhh, I don't think I would say he is happy. My guess is he tumbles out of bed and stumbles to the kitchen, pours himself a cup of coffee, and yawns and stretchs and tries to come to life. He jumps in the shower and his blood starts pumping, then he's out on the street and the traffic is jumping. He lets himself dream just later to watch it shatter, he ends up being a step on the boss-man's ladder. However, he's in the same boat as a lot of his friends, just waiting for the day for his ship to come in.

They shouldn't have stopped it.

He was getting his ass kicked but let him go down once before a stoppage.

That's what we on the continent call a 'shill'.

That's what I thought. Looked stunned a bit and was having problems getting the gloves up, but shit as
much as he was groping and hugging he may have been able to hang around to the bell.

Mayweather was clearly carrying McGregor and talking about him looking poor the first 3 rounds just seems dumb when he obviously had no interest in throwing. McGregor had an awful strategy and would have been deducted points or outright DQ'd by most refs.

That is a fight that absolutely cannot be stopped unless somebody is lying on the canvas. That was an absolutely brutal end.

It was pretty obvious Mayweather was going to win at that point even though he had lost the early rounds, but still. The ref stopping the fight when he did was just a terrible decision.

Agree, someone needed to be laid out to stop the fight. Conor's conditioning was embarrassing. Sure it was more fight time, but shorter rounds and no wrestling. He should have been able to last cardio wise.

Yeah that isn't a fight that need to be stopped against Mayweather. The death of the MMA fighter probably played a role.

Idk, man. He was beating the shit out of him in the tenth. McGregor couldn't even hold his gloves up.

Yeah, McGregor was unquestionably done. I understand why people wanted him to go down but I can't understand getting fired up over the ending. The fight was over.
