I think Jacobs deserves to be in the conversation. Golovkin had no interest in rematching him because he rightly wanted to chase the cash for fighting Canelo. He won't get fights with either guy now though because of the promoter/network politics. I didn't score this but definitely think Golovkin got screwed. I think this is a fight where the logic of a bad decision begat another bad decision, as I saw all sorts of people giving Alvarez rounds just on the basis of doing better than last time when he got a gift draw. |

Was very close. So much so I can't really argue with the decision. Agree with FF about aggression needing to be rewarded but it is what it is now. |
