I do. But I think he threw that line in as humor.

However, the way he lays it out makes it unlikely. He, a 13 year old, kills a grown man, and somehow disposes of him without anyone noticing, nearby a convenience store? Even out in the sticks, I can't see it.

I think he probably did beat up the guy, and that's the end of the story.
