On one of the primetimes leading up to the event Mean Gene alluded to a possible surprise person in Hogan's (and also one for the CanAm Connection) corner

Any of you wrestling nerds ever hear this referenced? I asked your nerd leader Conrad Thompson, he said it's a great question but he doesn't know.

Guessing a celebrity who opted out. Probably a Dwtrout guy. Maybe Bob Seger?

Lions had no one to trout out. Pistons weren't lovable enough

That feels like it was past Gary Coleman's prime. Alex Karras, maybe? There's a Lions connection. Gordie Howe, Mr Hockey himself? Knowing Vince's love of Motown, it was probably Jermaine Jackson.
