Anyone watch that new UFC show on TBS called Power Slap? I have not but was wondering what people thought of the show and of the "sport".

I made it about 10 minutes last night when I ran across it. I would call it easily the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

Everybody was expecting a really great match, well as great of a match as Hogan and Nash were capable of at least. They got quite a lot of heat for it, so mission accomplished.

Late 90s when WCW was desperately trying to stay in the Monday night wars with WWE. The original NWO faction has split up. One side led by Hogan. One side led by Nash. Nash won the world championship defeating Goldberg a little while before this. Goldberg was supposed to get a rematch this night but a lot of drama happened and Goldberg was arrested and not able to make it back for the match. Hogan conveniently showed up and Nash offered him a title match. And then the finger poke happened and Hogan pinned Nash to become the world champ. And as KDdid pointed out everyone was wanting to see Nash and Hogan really have a match, but they swerved everyone to get the title back to Hogan and reunite the factions

Opportunity to get Brain damage for a couple grand as you know Dana White is not paying these guys shit is not something that should interest anyone with 2 brains cells to watch. Reason being this so called sport doesn't allow the opponent to defend themselves so this is basically a competition who gets brain damage/knocked out first. What surprises me more than anything about this freak show is las Vegas sanctioned it as sporting event.. I guess money talks everywhere (especially Vegas).

The irony of the whole thing is they premiered this slap show after Dana White got caught slapping his wife on NYE... From domestic violence to a money making venture.. Only in America!
