SPOILERS* TNA Impact Wrestling Tapings for 3/29/12
By Marc Middleton
Mar 21, 2012 - 8:22:05 AM

- Thanks to Eric for the following TNA Impact Wrestling spoilers from Tuesday night's tapings in Orlando. Tese will air on March 29th:

* Bobby Roode comes out and he's surrounded by security. He rips into Dixie Carter and Sting before talking about Lockdown, guaranteeing a win over James Storm. Storm comes out but the security stops him from attacking Roode. Bully Ray comes from behind and lays out Storm. Ray and Roode vs. Storm is made for later tonight.

* Matt Morgan and Crimson brawled all the way to the back.

* Velvet Sky beat Madison Rayne. Velvet cut a promo after the match and says she's coming for Gail Kim's Knockouts Title.

* Austin Aries comes out and talks about Bully Ray stopping the X Division match last week. Aries is put in the match with Storm vs. Ray and Roode later tonight.

* Mr. Anderson beat Jeff Hardy after interference from Kurt Angle.

* Eric Bischoff calls out his son Garett and they talk. Gunner vs. Garett is on for Lockdown.

* James Storm and Austin Aries beat Bobby Roode and Bully Ray. The end came when Roode drank some of Storm's beer and accidentally spit it in Ray's face. Storm hit Last Call for the win.

* Dixie Carter calls out Hulk Hogan to end the show. Dixie talks about the new authority role and how she wants Hogan to take it since Sting stepped down. Hogan doesn't seem interested and out comes Sting with some of the TNA babyface wrestlers. Sting puts over Hogan and talks him into accepting the job. Hogan is the new man in charge in TNA.

Starting this now. Love Roode as Champ. Why does HE need the security around him when he's been committing crimes against the owner of the company. The owner. It's like Stone Cold having security when Vince is coming down.

I know this is a little thing and I was watching when they talked Hogan into accepting, on Dixie Carter, she had a shirt on that was above her shoulders and then after Hogan agrees, she pulls it down on both sides.

I know it's a little thing, but seen no reason for it.

What is this TNA you speak of?

It had actually become much better. If it was just a new random wrestling show, we would all probably watch it. Roode as champion has been very good. What I saw last night was a bunch of garbage. They can't help but hurt themselves.

There was definitely some good last night. Roode promo and the tag main event in particular.

But then they overshadow that with more Hogan-Sting-Dixie stuff and the Bischoff War that it leaves you wondering who thinks these are good ideas.

I stopped watching after the Dixie/Hulk bench segment. The speaking part of Roode's promo was good, but I stand by my police protection theory.

Yeah that was silly.

But I like Roode so much that I'll ignore it.

The Aries promo was pretty good as well.

That's the first thing I thought of too. Security for Roode, non for Dixie?

The highlight for me by far was the James Storm video. It was so MTV 1987 video direction. Show up to have some beers with a lanny poffo look alike and some other dude. Wait, no black dudes in the video? que token black dude in country video. Then they need the bad guy. Cue neck tattoo/non-white guy roughing up the country chick. Time to rough up the bad guy? Superkick from Storm? No, lets send a good family friendly message and roofy the guy.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. Now I have to watch the rest of the show. Damn you BL and Speeps! I'm an Aries mark as well.

Oh my. I'm so glad I didn't delete this out of disgust for the Hogan segment. I'm John Norris, and that was Longnecks and Rednecks, coming in at number two. Your number one video, for the nineteenth day in a row, Aerosmith, Love in an Elevator.

Also, I think a Vera Wang dress would be very fitting for ODB.
