That's the problem; Vince needs to step away and let Triple H handle more of the day to day stuff. With the rumors of Cena's neck and shoulder issues, he needs to go away for a while. That way, when he comes back, it refreshes the character a bit. The only person I could see beating Lesnar would be Reigns, but is he ready for that stage? How about its Lesnar v. Cena at WM31, Heyman turns on Lesnar and Cena becomes heel? Then you can phase out Lesnar, and install Cena as top heel, aka NWO Hogan.

I have seen literally nothing to suggest that the plan to have Lesnar reign as a monster up til WM to then put over Reigns has in any way been altered, challenged, or reconsidered.

That said there's literally no reason Cena should lose as badly as he just did. He should absolutely lose decisively, but they've written him as a guy going to leave nothing behind and nothing to chance, so his showing would logically have to improve from a storytelling standpoint.

A major problem (imo) is you can't reasonably expect these guys to put on an all-time epic 40 minute match to drive that home ... which is to say you could have them out there for 40 minutes, but there's gonna be a shit-ton of rest-holds, poses, and literal pacing (as in time-killing ambulation) in and around the ring. If you could have Paul deliver promos to kill time, you could give them an hour and a half.

Lesnar is being written as ECW Taz, minus the ECW intensity. I just hope to God Reigns doesn't end up being Mike Awesome.

I think that is a legit worry. I have never really seen what others do with him other than a good look.

I have always thought Ambrose was the best of the Shield, and now Rollins is doing quite well too. I hope Reigns is as good as others think.

Dead? A controversial stance.

Stop yourself.

On this side, I want it to say 'Awesome' ... down this side, 'AWESOME!' .... best promo of his ever.

Was never a fan of Taz back in the old ECW or WWF. I have a thing where I can't really respect or fear a guy that's 5'7.

Lesnar wins tonight.

I like Taz in ECW, but they neutered him in WWF because of his size and the type of suplexes he performed. He and Austin could never have a feud because of Austin's neck issues. Would have liked to see him feud with Jericho and Benoit, though.

Yes and still feel like, even at just 9.99 I overpaid.

WWE is bad. Not early 90's bad with Mantaur, The Goon, Bastion Booger etc..., but man is it tough to watch these days.

I had some hope earlier in the year but they've been coasting since mania. I don't consider the network to be a bad purchase still with all the archival content but this ppv was definitely not worth anything.

I watched most of it. Saw the results of the Cena match and was glad we didn't stay up.
The feed kept crapping out all night too.

I spend most of my time on the network watching Steiner matches.
