So there was a return to open the show and answer the US Open Challenge.

I won't spoil it for you.

Good show.

Taker/Lesnar: very good with old school blading and "violence"
Charlotte/Nikki: Above average; Nikki taking the bump from the corner was good.
Cena's opponent was a nice surprise.
Having no Xavier hurt the tag team match a bit.
Pre-show 6 man tag match was very entertaining.
Rollins/Kane was average; nothing exceeded expectations.

Not to steal the thread or anything, but is there any concern about the TV ratings for WWE reaching the lowest levels of modern memory -- they are going to struggle to get a 2 share during the holidays.

I loved Taker and Lesnar. Great match.

Del Rio back is meh for me. Never been a big fan.

I thought show was average-to-below average.

I have no interest in the new US Champ.
New Day winning was good but I did miss Xavier.
Taker-Brock was the match of the show. Also interested if the post match angle goes anywhere.

Yes there is. With Orton out with a shoulder injury and Cena gone until Christmas, two of their top babyfaces are off tv for a while. Wonder if they use Taker more on tv and push Ambrose to the upper level of babyfaces. The three hours of Raw really hurt them; there is a significant drop in interest from the crowd and ratings by the time it gets to the third hour.

Either a singles match between Taker and "" or a classic Survivor Series tag match between Taker's guys and the other faction

Great match to end the feud; both Summerslam and tonight's matches were better than their WM30 encounter. Saw a couple of chair shots to the head and blading; something the rest of the roster is probably forbidden to do.

I really want an old school angle.

Brainwashing Taker and turning him evil.

Tried that already with Bryan in fall of 2013.

Taker not turning heel; crowd won't allow it.

I remember. They rushed through it.

I want a full 2 months of vignettes with Taker being brainwashed.

Sister Abigail comes in and convinces Taker she's his wife.

All kinds of weird shit.

I want it all.

Back to two hours would help for sure. A 2 is still better than what USA would get otherwise, but I don't sense a jump back to the 6 days.

I had to do hard time spending time with my woman's family and didn't get home until Rollins and Kane started.

Rollins is the best. It's just remarkable. I hope he is the champ for the next 5 years.

Taker vs Lesnar was okay, I guess. Certainly not as good as their Summerslam match, IMO.

What's with the blading though? I thought they're not allowed to do that anymore in the WWE.
