i dont get why they are paying announcers that much money. the 10 year deal romo got is crazy town. does it really matter that much to the broadcast? want to see the 2022 season ratings compared to the 2021 ratings for the MNF games, i bet there is a minimal if any bump

It’s like paying LeBron to hawk Sprite.

Will also give a good idea of what the packers could have gotten for Rodgers

Is he even a top 5 QB in the AFC given the competition?

Mahomes
Burrow
Allen
Herbert
Jackson

This is what the Bears were looking at last off season before the draft. Better Denver than The Beloved. I agree that it likely isn't going to work, specifically in that division and even more so in the AFC.

Shefter claims the Broncos were targeting Wilson all along and that Rodgers wasn’t really being discussed (on their end).

Wilson was the starting QB of a 7-10 team . They were dogshit all year, even 5-10 at one point. They say a true franchise QB at least gets you to .500 even if the rest of the team sucks.

I find that hard to believe.

But if true then they are even bigger idiots.

They may not have believed the Packers were serious about trading him. Which I’d guess was true.

I wouldn't be concerned about losing any of those players. Maybe Fant explodes in year four, but probably not since he will be playing with no QB again.

It's the firsts and seconds.

Russell Wilson at 33 years old.....I'm sorry, that's too much. I don't think he has enough left in the tank to single-handedly turn the Broncos into a Super Bowl contender. I don't think Aaron Rodgers singlehandedly does, either.

Real bad trade.

He also markets a magical water that prevents concussions, so he’s old, not great and also crazy.

That trade is batshit crazy from the Broncos brass.

He missed 3 or 4 games last year, his career record is impressive

It is a lot of picks, they needed a QB and got one. The players they gave up are garbage. I think he wins a SB there

lightning doesn't strike twice for denver here by signing a future HOF aged QB although peyton came to a much more SB-ready team.

i have a friend who's a lifelong seahawks fan and he's been saying wilson's been washed up for a few years now. i like denver but it definitely doesn't look like a smart trade. more just a desperate one.

Your friend must be a dipshit, He was the MVP for the first 9 or 10 weeks last year.

When they start giving out the MVP award based on half a season of play, let us know. Dipshit.
