It's obviously much easier than playing the games but the point is that if his wife wanted him to be done with football he chose a post retirement job that would take up 3-4 days of your week with game prep, travel, and actually calling the game.Brees quit and Manning will seemingly only do a video conference with his brother on Monday nights. If it was really just a one day job I think they'd both be more than happy to call games. |

I'm not sure why he would want to come back. Time is finally winning the battle against Tom Brady. If he can't be away from the game or the locker room, I doubt he would have much trouble finding a job as an offensive asst or a QB coach somewhere. |
