I agree that if Cousins got to stand comfortably in the pocket while the defense counted to "5 Mississippi," he could be a decent QB.

How 'bout 3 Mississippi:

He’ll have to win a few playoff games to overcome his reputation as a choker.

He’ll have to win a few December games just to get into the playoffs first.

He's a unique talent. One of the few who could pull off being a $84 million bust and have a quasi-MVP season at the same time.

I foresee an epic meltdown starting this weekend with the Vikings finishing behind both the Bears and Lions

Chargers are a different defense with James, who is now back. Then they have the Packers. They finish with the Bears.

0-3 with Kirk throwing 5 picks

I think you missed my joke. They can't finish behind the Lions.

The Vikings are going to ruin Dalvin Cook and I'm ok with that.

He made a few nice throws. But they won that game because their d line dominated interior of saints o line.

Diggs was throwing his helmet in celebration of what a good QB he thinks Cousins is.

Good to see it. He seems like a good guy. His rep was well deserved but he can change it.

He played well enough to win. I expected him to completely shit the bed and throw at least 2 INTs. Agree with Rick, but fuck the Vikings.

Diggs is the next AB. I used to like him despite being a Viking but he's just an asshole. Acting like a total dipshit on the sidelines when they are up 10 on the road in the playoffs because he wasnt getting enough touches.

like I said yesterday, Theilien does the same thing

I've never seen two guys so openly disrespect a veteran starting qb so regularly. It is a weekly thing with these guys.

It's probably justified 60 percent of the time.

highlight on the open part

Do you think they are going to make Cousins better by being dicks on the sideline in front of the world? The tactic hasn't worked over the past years.

We'll never know unless we get inside their offensive meetings, but Diggs rarely runs over the middle, get 7-10 yard routes. Thielen, Rudolph, Bisi, Cook and Matteson do, and they get the ball. When Diggs did run that route yesterday, he got the ball, 10 yards, and his first reception of the game. Is it scheming? Is it Diggs only wanting to run highlight play routes? Don't know, but he'll not see the targets he wants until he runs an assortment of routes.

The Saints defense aren't slouches. They put Kirk under some pressure and between Jenkins and Lattimore they can cover players. And they doubled Diggs often.

Jenkins reminded me often that the Vikings should have picked him up.
