The career of a running QB in the NFL is brief, and once they decided that are no longer going to run the ball it magnifies their shortcomings as a pocket passer.

Some interesting officiating in the playoffs, Mahomes lowers his head and makes helmet to helmet contact with a defensive player on a play that would get him kicked out in college and breaks his helmet, but does not have to come out of the game and they let him play with a broken helmet, then a bit later the same dude who lowered his head and barreled into a defensive player gets a roughing the passer call when he is gently shoved by a defensive player.

They also have thrown out the PI and illegal contact rules for the playoffs, Belichick always seemed to know this would happen, but stuff that would have been called a few weeks ago ignored, unless you are playing KC, who seem to be the NFL's darlings.

The fake QB slide should be outlawed in the NFL like it is in college.

Get rid of the penalty for throwing the ball past the line of scrimmage. Let the quarterback throw it away instead of a slide and they get the ball where the player started throwing the ball even if they don't actually throw it.
