We'll see. The bottom of my list is admittedly somewhat fungible with the Saints - but I think finding seven better teams isn't beyond the pale. |

They didn't beat the Rams, not sure why I said that. But yeah, I think they are better than Carolina and Atlanta, and definitely better than Seattle with their injuries. We'll find out if that's true over the next few weeks. I think the Eagles, Vikings, Rams, and Saints are the clear class of the NFC, and everyone else is a tier below. New England and Pitt would be the only AFC teams in that group, IMO. Lattimore needs to stay healthy for them to contend. |

i don't think Seattle's better than them, but the Saints cannot beat them on the road. that stadium is kryptonite to them. i don't remember the last win they had @ Seattle. true about lattimore. he was becoming the playmaker the defense needed. the presence, and the command respect. cam jordan's having a great year but lattimore is writing his legacy, whereas jordan is just going to be a solid player at best. when you see a lackluster league like the NFL now, throw "quality wins" out the window. The only team that fits that narrative is Minnesota, and I just don't believe they're made to make a Super Bowl run with their QB. granted, there have been QB's that have rode great defenses to championships in the past. But i don't think they had to get through teams like the Eagles. The Saints probably wouldn't get a bye, and that's going to be their ultimate undoing. they're not going to get to a SB on the road. |

lattimore has to be back on the field for this team to have a chance at the eagles, vikings or rams again. he just secures the defense, and is the spark they need. cam jordan's had a great season, but he can sometimes disappear too. lattimore can cover really well, and that counts for a lot. i'm astounded by the ground game. kamara just keeps impressing and i have never seen ingram have this much impact on the team. of course, the guy's contract is set up to where he could get a big payday at the end of the season as a free agent. just when i am starting to really love the guy, he'll probably leave. |
