I have a rules question. The Cowboys just kicked off and the Giants return guy let the ball drop in the end zone while he walked toward the sideline. The ball kind of bounced straight up before disappearing from the shot. I’m not sure if it died while still in the end zone and the ref blew it dead but it made me wonder - is that a live ball? What’s the difference between that and an onside kick besides the distance?
