How did the Giants even win games last year, let alone qualify as a NFL team. Do they have any skill players? No QB, no RB, no WR, no TE (I think). Who are they paying to play these games?

looks like a complete demolish at this point. outside of Okereke, Andrew Thomas and Dexter, not much to feel good about.

Brian Burns to the Giants.

The Panthers turned down MULTIPLE first round picks for Burns and ultimately accepted a 2nd and a 5th.

Your defense seems to be improving. Not following closely. Too bad they can't play offense as well.

Sounds like a team in need of a dynamic, dual threat QB.

Insanely athletic, cannon for an arm*, prototypical size…imagine you could get that guy in the door for a 2nd rounder.

Sam Darnold to the Vikings. That likely locks them in as the worst team in the division.

He took less. He was tired of carrying the Packers.

looks like a team that could make a big attempt to trade up in round one to me.

1 year for $7M, it would be interesting to know what they were trying to sign him for. He was due like 15 with a cap number of 17.

Daboll is a guy who may be able to build an offense around Field's talents.

What a wake up call for Justin personally over the last 24 hours.

I do think it become a legitimate argument that the way to "Do right by Justin" is to let the trade market develop for him in August or September. It's just the nature of the league that some team that was looking for the playoffs will lose their QB. It happened to the Jets and Vikings last year. A third round pick to not start Zach Wilson would have been worth it for the Jets last year.

Agreed.

Hell, I think we are a team looking for the playoffs and he is cheaper than just about any other capable vet. The only question is if he could handle the situation.

I'd rather have a pocket passing vet backup in the room with playoff experience.

As soon as Caleb lands in Chicago all these reporters and podcast people are gonna be in his grill about Justin and how that relationship going, do you fear having someone so beloved staring over your shoulder, hey you had a rough game today and just wanted to ask if you heard the "we want Justi!n" chants from fans/LTG in the third quarter, what do you make of that, etc.

What's best for Caleb/the rookie is a fresh start with no Justin stuff to deal with.

Marcus Mariota to the Redskins. Are we sure they aren't drafting Marvin Harrison Jr? What happens with Sam Howell?

This is the biggest blow to the Fields cult. It was made known to the entire league that Justin Fields was available, and teams are opting instead to sign Tyrod Taylor, Brissett, Sam Darnold, and Mariotta.

30+ NFL GMs have determined that Fields is not a viable, long term QB1, but LTG knows whats up

Sam Howell on the trading block is just another QB more enticing than Fields. I originally thought they'd get a 2nd for him, time passed, then a 3rd, time passed, now who knows, these 5 fuckin' QBs in the draft have really set everything on fire.

Cutting Fields would be a better option than this.

Yeah, things are looking good. You're hoping at this point. That's a shitty position to be in.
