Throwing games is not gonna be the problem.

But some players are gonna go broke.

I know there are casinos in every city in America. But when it's in your face every where you go like in Vegas, it makes it different.

Not to mention the hookers. There will be scandals and suspensions with Raider players.

It was cool when the NFL walked out on St. Louis, because St. Louis sucks and the Rams shouldn't have left Los Angeles for St. Louis in the first place. It was fucked up when they walked out on San Diego to double up on Los Angeles, and this is even worse. Now there's no NFL team within 30 miles of San Francisco. They'll come to regret this.
The Chargers were the only dumb one.

The Vegas move is fine.

Why would the San Francisco area need two teams?

They needed a second team now more than ever once the 49ers moved to an erector-set shitpile all the way in the South Bay. The Raiders are closer to San Francisco than the 49ers are. I don't think it's smart to walk out on an area as wealthy as Northern California in favor of Las Vegas, where the banks have taken to demolishing the houses they just built so that they can say there are fewer foreclosure-related vacancies.

They don't, Oakland has the population of Tulsa and S.F. has less than Columbus. One team is plenty.

Like this dickbag just split the atom, what he doesnt know is the " Bay Area" is 5 times the size of cook county with about a million more people. They don't need two teams.

Las Vegas doesn't need any teams.

Oh, and man did the NHL get owned on this. That West Point idiot paid $500MM for an expansion team that got upstaged by the Raiders before they got to play a single game. What a moron.

The NHL will fail in Vegas.

The Raiders will do well. It's only 8 games. They'll sell out. Everybody will plan their Vegas trips when their team is there to catch the game. Not to mention the fact that there are still a lot of Raiders fans in Southern Cal. They'll make the 2 hour drive for some games.

So they just need to have the locals in Vegas fill half the stadium. Then the other half will be fans from the opposing team. So it won't be much of a home field advantage.

Agreed, won't be much of a HF advantage but the team will pack em in every game, no problem.. I haven't hit a Bears game in 16 years and will hit em every time they go to Vegas.

You and Beardown need to rein this shit in.

Opposing teams will be tempted way more than the Raiders. Could be a big advantage.

Opposing teams are in town only the night before the game. I doubt they are even able to get away from the hotel.

There is pussy n booze in every city, I agree with BD that the crowds will be 50~50 but the real HF advantage in the NFL is traveling, jet lag, sleeping in a hotel etc...they will still have the advantage, just not the crowd noise.

I live in the bay area half the time of the year. They really won't be missed by the casual fanbase. Corporate world here is Niners heavy.

Think of it like Cubs and Sox. Niners are like the Cubs and the Raiders are like the Sox. If the Sox moved would people in Chicago (other than Sox Fans) really give a shit?

I remember when no major sports leauge even considered Vegas because they all thought at least one player on a team would try to throw games. But the Raiders and their image is a prefect fit for Vegas.

Kinda funny since the Sox & Raiders have the same color scheme, while the 49ers & Cubs both come from the gay part of town.

Mostly bad hombres who are soon to be deported. They can enjoy the game when it rolls into Mexico city once per season.

Can shithole Nevada spend money on public education now or will they just send kids to help build the stadium for the Raiders?

Why go all the way to Qatar when you can watch child slaves toil under a local desert sun!!!

They will be looking to move to another city the moment that first lease expires.

Whenever I think it would be fun to go follow the Bears in some nice climate location, I remember all the other things I would rather do should I go on that vacation than watch football.
