Announcement on flight to Kansas City congratulates the entire aircraft for wiping them completely out of booze. Yep, it's a Raiders flight.

The NFL is so much better when the Raiders are good.

Agree 100%. The Raiders winning while averaging 15 penalties/150 yards is the world in its natural state. In that TB game they had 23 penalties for 200 yards, more than MANY teams gain in a game.

FA signing of the year/road grader supreme Kelechi Osemele is out for tonight's game.

Stinks.

I turned down a spot in a suite at the Bulls/Spurs game for this nonsense? Better get it together.

Carr's hand is going to be an issue against good defenses. Taking every snap in the shotgun affects the timing of the running game.

He looks horrible. The passing game is really inept tonight.

He has to be more hurt than they are letting on. Just look at his hand when he releases the ball.

Raiders deserved to lose with that horrendous play calling. Run game was effective, yet they kept chucking it with the clearly-injured Carr.

I think the cold and the wrapping on his finger made the ball slick. The ball had a shine to it last night

Oh, no doubt. He just didn't seem to be too bothered by it until this game, at least when it came to throwing/gripping the ball. Too many off-target passes, too many dropped balls and the secondary looked awful.

Alex Smith didn't have any trouble slinging the ball around the field.

He didn't have a wrapping on the pinkie of this throwing hand

What is this, an Abbott and Costello routine?

For years I thought the St. Louis Rams were being as bad as possible so they could erode their own support and move to Los Angeles. Well, they moved to Los Angeles, but now they're even worse.

there's something heartwarming about your interest in california professional football teams. watching the raiders and chargers late on sunday afternoons in the early 1990's helped shape my love of the NFL. i was a saints fan, who were also good in that period, but they could never get past the rams or the 49ers. but for some reason, there was a mystique for me about those teams. i had never been to california, but every single team in that state attracted me even though the rams and 9ers were in my team's division. i hated the rams more, but i respected the hell out of the 49ers.

i loved watching the raiders and chargers because they couldn't affect my team's fate.

also, i just loved seeing sunny games when it was dark around me.

it's sad to me that the rams moved back to LA just to continue sucking. but the NFL is, for the most part, a total shitshow anyway. the raiders being good is one of the few bright spots.

It's really only the Rams and Raiders I take an interest in. I wanted the Rams to go back to Los Angeles because their uniforms there were cool, the Edward Jones Dome was a terrible place for football, and to spite the people of St. Louis. At the same time, I want the Raiders to stay in Oakland because Las Vegas is gross.

Everyone in my 3rd grade class was obsessed with the 49ers the season they won the Super Bowl. That's my earliest recollection of having to care about football, not anything involving the Bears.

you're talking about the 1995 super bowl. that was such a disappointment after watching what the chargers did to get into the super bowl. i was a huge natrone means fan. and who couldn't love jr. seau. loved the uniforms, too.

i was so beyond sick of the 9ers winning super bowls by then i didn't watch the end.

this seahawks game would be more enjoyable to watch if it were at seattle in front of those disingenuous "12th man" fans and watching more of carroll's mug.

They're drunk with Sounders pride.
