It's a great "what if?" to wonder how Vick's career would have played out with if he wasn't dogfighting. That 2002 Lambeau playoff game still sticks with me.

I'll always remember the Monday night game when Urlacher made Vick his bitch. That was sexy Rexy's return too.

First let's agree on Vicks peak. I'm sure some are thinking ATL days.

Vicks 2010 in Philly was, pretty damn good

62.3% completion
21-6 TD-INT
3018 yds passing
676 rsh yds 9 TDs

That's close to Randall's peak. Two of the more exciting players ever.

Randall's ability to scramble then heave it 60yds hitting a receiver in stride was something to behold

Cunningham had to play against guys like Wilbur Marshall. Wilbur would have broken every limb in Michael Vick's body. And Cunningham had to play for Buddy Ryan who wasn't exactly an offensive genius.

I wonder how many NFL players besides Cunningham had two punts of 80+ yards in their careers.

You are right -- we should be judging the merits of quarterbacking on long punt ability.

Nope, that is just an odd piece of trivia.

Thank you for getting the thread back towards sanity, my humblest apologies.

I remember watching on TV and Vick would sprint back to the sidelines and dive into his parka by the heaters. He wanted none of that weather.

Vick had more flashes where you were just left dumbstruck, he may have been more physically gifted than Randall, but Randall was by far the better QB. But in fairness neither were aided by good offensive coaching.

IIRC though, Vick's Falcons had no real talent either.

As an aside, Steve Young rarely gets the credit he deserves.

I once got into an argument with some drunk Eagles fans at the oldBaja Beach Club. While roasting the Eagles for their wastes of talent because of shitty coaching and clowns like Cris Carter, they suddenly got quiet and smiley. I turned around to come face to face with Randall, Jerome Brown and Keith Jackson.

I shut up real quick.

I watched A Football Life on Cunningham tonight and I am changing my opinion.

Cunningham was better.

Sounds like his son is going to be a stud as well.

Randall Cunningham had more game show hosting experience:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpWm6oGaJfQ

If you can watch more than 2 minutes of it, I give you credit.
