Is this the worst NFL playoff game ever?

On deadspin, it said that the Texans have a -49 point differential this year.
Oakland may be starting Connor Cook.

the AFC South is the most meaningless divisional title to win in the NFL right now.

This might be the best chance Houston has of making it out of the 2nd rd. this year. If SD had won yesterday, they'd be fucked.

May be...the 8-8 Rams vs 9-7 Seahawks a dozen years ago or so was pretty fucking brutal as well.

it's a shame that the raiders and dolphins are missing their starting QB's. both teams are nice additions to a predictable post season. but they won't be fun to watch at all.

ESPN pays the NFL $100M to broadcast one Wild Card game. The awful MNF games are a separate package.

2nd straight year, they gave them the Texans game too.

Osweiler gets the start, time to earn that money.

At least they simulcast the game on ABC. They might have to because it's a playoff game and has to be available over the air.

I'm kind of surprised that for what ESPN pays for Monday Night Football, they don't insist on better games. Seems like at least half of Fox's late games were de facto national games and better ones than whatever Jets-Falcons crap ESPN got stuck with.

I always go with the thought, that since some people still don't have cable, they don't want to give them the big games, even though it's Monday night, they still get their old Sunday night schedule, the real big games are now on Sunday night NBC.

Well, it's a better package than their old Sunday night detritus (which often felt like the worst game of the week), but it's still not as good as you'd think an unopposed national game would be.

Connor Cook became a man today.

How many of you can say that?

I wonder what the +/- was on Raiders being injured and taken out of the game. Too Bears-y.

Too Bearsy?! The Raiders just played a playoff game. That is the complete antethesis of "Bearsy"

Can the Texans just concede and move on with their off-season plans? That way we could watch professional football teams. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
