How many teams can LA handle?

Hasn't the viewership gone down in LA this year even with a team? The Chargers belong in SD. The pissing match between the team and the city was ridiculous. San Diego County covers a massive amount of land. You could have built them a stadium anywhere north of La Jolla or west of Lemon Grove and been fine.

LA is official now.

Virginia should sell the Bears to a SD based ownership. Chicago can go 20 years w/o a team, then we can get two teams when it's our turn.

Zero. No one will care about either team.

Really. By mid-October this past season, nobody there even cared about the Rams.

The LA people that I know that are native wished for the return of the Raiders and they still root for them.

I've been to a game in Qualcomm Stadium before...actually it was for TB Bucs vs. Raiders Superbowl so it was MANY years ago....That stadium was old and a pit then. I know & respect what the tax payers there did with voting down building a new stadium. Personally I'd like to see them stay in San Diego. They (NFL & Chargers) played out their hand...so its off to L.A.

Well, before the Rams the LA market always received the Game of the Week. Once they Rams came they were stuck with that disaster on their TVs.

that seemed to be the only team that *made sense* to be an LA team. i don't know why. LA Raiders just sounds right. The Rams were never really embraced even when they went to the super bowl, and the Chargers only spent one year in LA before.

i'm not a fan of this at all. LA Chargers sounds like something you'd buy at Fry's.

The Raiders will now be getting 10 home games a year.

San Diego should demolish Qualcomm and develop that area for the downtown. Better money for the City and County.

Surprising that SoCal tax payers continually voted down the measures considering all the other dumb shit they vote for that increases their taxes.

Hope there's a last chance for San Diego to swoop in and stop this. The NFL is really gonna have the Chargers playing in a 30,000-seat stadium?

San Diego as least gets rid of the fucking Spanos idiots.

I think I got the LA Chargers as the 8th most popular NFL team in LA

1. Raiders
2. Steelers
3. Cowboys
4. Patriots
5. Packers
6. 49ers
7. Rams (maybe)
8. Chargers

Good work NFL

Chargers trying to prevent scalping for tickets played at StubHub field.

Quote:
Chargers will seek to prevent season tickets from being sold on secondary market

The Chargers will attempt to prevent some season-ticket holders from profiting on the limited supply of tickets this coming season.

In an announcement Thursday that seat selection at the 30,000-seat StubHub Center will begin in the next week, the Chargers say they reserve “the right to enforce a policy that all season tickets should be used primarily by season ticket members and their personal guests.”

Because of the limited supply of seats, the team will try to combat buyers taking advantage of the situation by reselling season tickets on the secondary market, potentially revoking those tickets from the sellers. As of Thursday night, four different sets of season tickets were being advertised for as much as $6,000 on VividSeats.com and Craigslist.com. The most expensive package offered by the Chargers has a $3,750 face value.

Fans will have opportunities to sell their tickets on an individual game basis.

The letter, which is signed by Todd Poulsen, vice president of ticket sales and services, says the first wave of potential season-ticket holders will get seat-selection instructions within the next week.

The Chargers say they can’t guarantee seats for everyone who has put a deposit down for tickets. Fans who are able to get seats will be limited to four seats per household or establishment.

are you shitting me? the bears have a license to print cash based on the whole "one city. one team" mantra that they love to put out there! the only thing less likely than the bears leaving town would be another team coming to chicago (cuz you aint fucking up that "one team" gravy train, no way in hell! you'll sooner be dancing with ginny alongside the honeybears than you will be rooting for the chicago jaguars or whatever)

Don Banks: NFL Is Talking About Chargers Moving Back To San Diego

I'd love to see this, not just for the fans of San Diego but because it makes the NFL look stupider than ever for trying to force a second team on a city that can barely justify the first one.
