He wrote a book about the Cubs. A children's book. "It was a delight." Story about a bear named Bruno from 1929 to present day. He remembers walking home after that 7th game spending $1.10 and felt badly they didn't win. Never give up: that is the message.

you could probably retire comfortably on 55 cents back then. i mean, shit, even in my lifetime i remember driving a honda civic out to ithana new york circa december 2001 for something like $35 each way, and for something like 800-1000 miles that's pretty darn good
