Plenty of time to think about this, and watch line moves. My initial reaction is New England, because when you bet on New England, you win.

The only teams that beat NE are teams that really get after the QB, like the Broncos last year, Giants in the Super Bowls, and some of the Ravens teams. NE always shuts down the team with the big offense, just like they are doing today. Check out their record against Manning and the Colts.

The defenses have changed a lot over Belichick's tenure, mostly for the worse. The last time they faced an offense this good was the 2001 Rams, and this New England defense isn't close to that level. I wouldn't be surprised if New England wins but I will be surprised if the Falcons score less than 30.

Pats struggled mightily in the first half against the Texans rush. Now Atlanta doesnt bring it like Houston does, but they still bring it better than most teams. That, and Atlanta has an offense. Not just any offensive, the best offensive in the league.

I cant bet against Atlanta after rolling through two of the NFL's top 5 teams like they were nothing. New England has looked worse against inferior competition.

Seattle yes. Wilson was banged up the first half of the season, once he got going they looked great.
Green Bay, harder to say because of the injuries. Rodgers was on such a roll though.

They were both better than Pittsburgh (Roethlisberger is toast) and Houston (AFC south shitheap), as well as anyone else in the Patriots division this year.

Either way, we all lose.

I would say comfortably that the Patriots, Cowboys, Raiders, Chiefs, Falcons, and Steelers were better than both teams this year. Probably not a big difference really overall.
