Martellus spent the Super Bowl postgame making his contract pitch. I thought it was pretty telling and made it clear he would be playing for team #5 next year.

It's a great draft for TE so Martellus is going to be sitting there without a contract until after the draft.

I don't think its a game with BB or NE, they don't want him.

Let's not get crazy. He's a very good TE, but this is all about contract and I agree with gd that he's taking the highest offer and it won't be from NE. But all things being equal and if they thought the price was right they would definitely take him back in NE.

I remember him in Dallas, and watching here in Chicago. It is all about the $$$. If you keep him happy there, he is a pretty good TE. He is a bit of an odd ball as well.

I never bought that Martellus is an oddball. I think his act is contrived. Same with his brother. He is a smart guy and he plans all of the provocative things he says.

I think he is a very good tight end. I think he plays hard and he plays hurt. He will be 30 years old this season at the position that takes the hardest hits in the game.

He's about the 15th best TE in the league and going to be 30 and want a pay raise, there is zero chance BB brings him back, this draft is pretty heavy at tight end as well.

I meant it as more of general question, not to martellus specifically, there's obviously no way ne is gonna give him that.
