Hoyer to 49ers. They will definitely be drafting a QB.
Bill keep Tyrod Taylor. They will definitely be drafting a QB.
Romo cut.

Sounds like the 49ers are blowing a lot of cap space on over the hill players, non difference makers, and fullbacks.

Apparently, they have a lot of interest in Fournette.

They need an entire team, so QB isn't a huge need this draft, I suppose. Probably intend to sign Cousins next season.

Why? They have Hyde.

I think Fournette is going to be the guy to make teams want to move up the draft board.

And then regret the day they did it, as he spends countless games on the bench hurt.

Former Jags S Johnathan Cyprien is going to do a deal today after 4pm with the Titans, per source.

Cross another one off the list.

It also makes sense that the Cowboys don't want to release him now.

Wow. So Cleveland gets Osweiller, a 2nd, a 6th and give up a 4th? Not bad. They definitely have the cap space. Very un-Brownlike.

Ian Rappaport is saying the Browns are considering simply releasing Osweiler after the trade is completed.

That's gotta be a signal that they're going to grab a QB at the top of the draft.

Aren't the Browns the ones trying to run an NFL team like a moneyball team?

That's a very baseball-y trade by Cleveland. Makes sense for the Texans too, swallow the poison pill and try and get your shit together while Clowney-Watt-Mercilus etc. are still dominant.

I agree. Similar to the Glennon contract in guaranteed money but they get some picks.

Completely different situations. The Bears signed Glennon because they think he's good(he's not). The Browns traded for Brock because they could eat the money and it was worth it for the draft picks.

Brock was good in Denver. Maybe he needed a change of scenery.

I know why the Bears did it

Calais Campbell (IMO best player available this year) and AJ Bouye both to Jags. The Bears should've been after these guys.

If the Jaguars weren't the Jaguars, and had someone better than Bortles at the helm, I'd say they could be pretty good this year. Bouye/Campbell signings reminiscent of Jenkins/Vernon for the Giants or Talib/Ward/Ware for the Broncos. Ramsey and Bouye are instantly one of the best CB tandems in the league.

Bears don't sign free agents on defense unless they carry an injury risk and slated to miss a min 25% of the season.
