oh hell no, he's not a HOFer and it's not even close. In fact he's probably one of the more overrated offensive players in this decade. In addition to not being able to block, he can't break tackles. I remember a packer fan on another forum giving me shit when he was drafted by the Bears, but he was exactly right, he always goes down on first contact. that's what the Miami taped showed...And he's not a good jump ball TE either. In fact, he's never even been on the top 3 of receiving TE's in TD's in any season during his career! What he does well, he takes advantage of modern day passing rules, sits in the soft zone, and makes those catches. He's not a game changer, never has been. |
