I wouldn't say Tyrod Taylor being benched is crazy because it's not totally unexpected when it comes to black quarterbacks in the NFL, but the mental gymnastics I've seen trying to justify it sure are. |

Pittsburgh just ran my favorite 3rd and goal from the half yard line... set it up as a run, have a TE fake a block and then just drift out there for the easy pass. Seems like this works 85% of the time. I also like similar but from a few yards back where you have everyone block right, have the TE on the left side "try" to block, but let that collapse... fake the handoff to a right side run, then QB and TE rollout to the left for the easy TD (either passing or QB dives in if someone is actually covering.) Bears would call a Howard dive for a loss of two. |
