This game was a fucking disgrace. It's no wonder people hate the NFL. The fix is in.

Brees isn't making any Super Bowl runs with that throw.

Sickening loss but can't say I didn't see it happening. God I hate fucking Thursday night games. Half the team is gone thanks to tonight.

Yeah it's hard for me to get worked up about the final sequence just because I thought Payton should have known better and the Saints were a pretty big longshot to even get a stop on third down. But man that was some atrocious officiating overall tonight.

i put this more on brees than the calls in the game. when it's 2nd and 10, you've got a lot of field to work with, time is on your side, and all those weapons...you don't throw it into coverage when you've already been burned by the same linebacker (the guy's had a pick six on brees before). when he gets into Breesus mode, they have no chance.

fortunately they have time to heal up before the jets game. but after losing big games to the rams and now this, and of course losing to the vikings in week 1, i just don't see this being a "special team" year. and unfortunately, after this year they'll probably lose ingram to free agency.

That sucks. The NFC playoffs were shaping up to be incredible but the Eagles aren't winning in these playoffs without him.

I think the Vikings have to be the favorites in the NFC now. Newton went off on them today, it happens.

so in saints/falcons you lose the most exciting young player in kamara for a game. in eagles/rams, you lose one of the best budding stars of the NFL for possibly the season.

this is why this league sucks. your biggest stars going down is going to kill interest.

Watson and Rodgers too.

This year the injuries seem worse than usual, but I don't know that there is a fix for that. Players getting injured is inherent to the sport.
