It's truly bizarre that Dan Bailey is just sitting at home watching these games on TV. Someone needs to pay the man

The Browns are +5 in takeaways today. Since the Browns returned to the NFL, teams with a turnover margin of +5 or better in a game are 132-4-1. The Browns are responsible for two of those losses and the tie.

Vikings are signing Dan Bailey.

Meanwhile, in Cleveland:

Only the #Browns would force their kicker to kick through a groin injury, allow it to cost them two wins, cut the kicker, then replace him with a kicker who has never kicked in the NFL and made just 69.5% of his career FG attempts in college.

10:34 AM - 17 Sep 2018

 It's unreal how incompetent Cleveland is.

I think Cleveland is finally on the right track with GM Dorsey. I have no idea why they didn't fire the head coach. Goofy shit like Sunday happens to every NFL team. They are going to regret passing on Barkely though.

Until they get competent ownership, they'll continue to do dumb things like hiring baseball numbers guys who don't understand football.

Or draft Mayfield one of one.

Zane Gonzalez deserves another chance if this is all true.

Someone will probably give him another chance even if it isn't...hell, Roberto Aguayo has gotten multiple shots...

Goddamn I love the Browns.

If this were a sitcom based on an inept NFL team, Id say this one is too far over the top to be real. Unbelievable.

:lol: But it's all too real;
Quote:
Gonzalez was kicking with a groin injury that requires an MRI, according to multiple reports. And Browns head coach Hue Jackson surprisingly said he was unaware of that injury.

"I knew nothing about an injury whatsoever so that was new to me," Jackson told reporters in Monday's conference call, per clevelandbrowns.com.

"That was not reported to me that Zane was hurt," Jackson added, per the AP's Tom Withers. "I did not know and nobody had ever reported to me from our medical department that Zane was hurt."

Well now your heart kind of breaks for him. They sent him out there doomed to fail then cut him because of their own incompetence.

Also, I recently remembered (more like was reminded) that in 2014 the Browns traded from 4 to 8 to take Justin Gilbert and Johnny Manziel. Who was picked #5? Khalil Mack.

Cant make this shit up.

Oh god I shouldn't have read the replies. Brown's bootlickers are real.

Carl Nassib has it

Mike Lombardi reported that the news of cutting Gordon was just to garner trade interest. I guess there was a market for him.

The game tonight should be a lot more interesting than a Jets/Browns game sounds on paper. Looking forward to seeing Darnold and Enunwa take on that defense.

Its too bad the Browns played the Saints or I could say the Jets are the best team Cleveland has played so far this year.

It feels weird to think I’m actually looking forward to watching a Cleveland Browns game. Either I’m going to be happy that they finally win a game, or I’m going to laugh my ass off at how they Browns themselves out of this one.

With the added annoyance of Buck and Aikman.

Browns get their just desserts after another completely moronic 3rd down call. I'm seeing people already calling for Mayfield but he'd be screwed too by this offensive line and playcalling.
