They finally got it right and hired a competent Front office guy. They have 2 first rounders this draft and 2 or 3 second rounders. This franchise will be better than the Bears in a year..2 @ most.

Thought I heard, 5 picks in the first two rounds. Yeah, at this point, not sure how you fuck this up.

Ridiculous amount of cap space too.

Exactly! When you are trading for guys to hit the floor. Hopefully for the fans, they finally have the guy to build this up. You have a good 1st rd pick from last year, 5 picks in the first two rounds, #1 overall pick, and a TON of cap space. Usually, the GM wants his own coach. Wonder how that will play out.

first they have to solve the QB problem, and i don't think that's coming out of this draft.

I don't know if they know what Kizer is. Look at the Bears, no talent and drafted a QB. I think they need talent around that position as well.

Everyone is down on Darnold and Rosen. They will be sky high on both of them by draft day.

In my opinion, this is a great draft for QB. I also really like Finley out of NCST, who will not go in the first. I hate Allen.

Everyone knew Kizer needed time to sit and watch so what do the Browns do...start him from Day 1

No, they never hired smart people..Dorsey is their best hire.

Sashi Brown was an attorney. May as well had Good dolphin at the helm.

You know how you think of the White Sox?

That's the Browns.

I think the Sox are on a good path, they should be 85 plus win team in 2019.

I can't disagree with this. Bears gave up picks and I have zero confidence in "Shaheen is a 2nd rounder" Pace.

Halas must be turning over in his grave. Look at what he did before he died: hired Finks & Ditka and retained Buddy Ryan.

The Browns will win as many or more games than the Bears this year.

Getting anything for Kizer was impressive. They have a pretty tough schedule this year. Over under for wins should be 3.5

Their offense really isn't that impressive. Josh Gordon hasn't done anything in years and Corey Coleman hasn't done anything period. Would you say Kevin White and Cameron Meredith are two big reasons to be really afraid of the Bears offense? No. It'd be ridiculous.

They have a damn fine OL and if they pair that with Barkley they will rush for a shitton of yards. They can ride that to a few wins with a competent QB like Taylor managing the offense, but this is not going to suddenly become the 2000 Rams under him.

And they have absolutely no defense. Their defensive backfield is the worst in the NFL. Their defensive line is the worst in the NFL. They have one linebacker worth knowing and he kind of underperformed last year for a 1.1 pick. Between selecting Barkley and drafting their QB of the future they'll suddenly have a lot less draft capital with which to start fixing it.

I don't think they draft a qb in the first round, Taylor isn't bad. I'd go Barkley n Fitzpatrick or Barkley n Nelson in the first. Tons of cap space and draft picks to fill holes.. They could go 6-10 maybe 7-9.

Post subject:  Re: Cleveland Browns

There's not enough good defenders available in free agency to fix that shitshow defense of theirs. Other than Garrett they dont have an real NFL starter anywhere on that defense. Jamie Collins is a corpse.

This isn't a great defensive free agent crop either. No great pass rushers available, just a bunch of a good-not-great CB's and big defensive linemen. Browns could use that, but there isn't a Calais Campbell-type player who can give them the type of MVP season they'd need to even be respectable.

Stockpiling to move up to 1.2 for Chubb? Giants will get their pick of the QB's at 4 since Indy won't take one at 3.

Giants cannot be certain the Browns wouldn't be making such a trade to take a QB.
