I lost respect for Kaep when he analogized draft camp workouts to slave owners checking the merchandise out before adding to their collection of slaves. And he did this while making a documentary that would net him more cash to add to the pile he made by...going through draft camp workouts. Fuck off dude.

I really hated that too because in many ways it diminished the horrible injustice that was slavery. All pro sports hold such workouts for players of all races, and these athletes are paid for their services.

Exactly. It's insulting. If I had an ancestor who was a slave I would have wanted to punch kaep in the mouth.

The weirdest thing about that video was that Kaepernick developed a blaccent that he had never had before and wouldn't have had growing up in a white family with white peer groups.

Honestly, I stopped paying attention when I realized that his gf was increasingly talking through him. Way, way too much was made (contorted) about him, his money and his goals. Life's too short. too short.
