You're talking about the Eagles, correct?

Vikings didn't really play MANY good to decent offenses during the season and capitalized off of teams with major injuries or that were just flat out bad on offense.

No team plays good offenses every week. Minnesota faced the best scoring offense in the NFL, the 4th best, and the 7th best twice. 6 of their 16 games came against teams that were in the top 9 in scoring offense.

That's what Philly did, they stayed away from Rhodes and chewed them in the middle. That's why I was never sold in Minny's D.

Careful Bob, RF may mistake you for an Eagles fan with that kind of biased analysis.

Nah. Bob doesnt have 12 teams he is a fan of

Game should be a pick'em.

That said, I think Philly wins outright.

Brady no GOAT. Montana, Marino, Elway and Fouts all better.

There would be no Brady, had there not been a Fouts and Air Coryell.

Even if that is true that in no way means fouts is better than Brady. Is Coryell better than hoodie too?

He's so dumb it's a waste of time to do anything besides laugh.

There would be no Jordan had there not been a Dr Naismith but for some reason I still think Jordan was probably a better basketball player.

Brady couldn't throw the deep ball, not like Fouts.

If I'm going to declare someone GOAT, he has to be able to throw the deep ball, too.

Brady throws dink passes to beat you. His receivers did all the work.

Elway was amazing. No one could beat the Broncos then.

The one who shouldn't be in the conversation is Rodgers. When was the last time he was dominant?

Elway doesn't belong anywhere near the conversation. A 56% completion percentage is an automatic disqualifier. The fact that he got carried to two super bowls by a stacked supporting cast at the end of his career doesn't change that.

From 1983 until 1996, every year, a team found a way to beat the Broncos.

Dude. You wanted to the Bears to keep Matt Barkley. Clearly you have zero credibility when it comes to quarterbacks and pretty much anything else to do with sports.

Here's an excerpt from a very well written article on the GOAT QB, defending Fouts.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2009 ... n-era-2017

"Fouts trailed only Brady and Manning in a metric measuring wins above expectation, making a strong case that he could be undervalued in the survey.

To calculate the metric, ESPN senior analytics specialist Brian Burke ran a statistical regression on all games since 1978 to create a season-specific expectation for winning each game based on how many points the opponent scored. For example, the model gave the Patriots a 35 percent expectation of winning the Super Bowl given that they allowed 28 points to Atlanta. Winning the game created a 65 percentage edge attributed to Brady for the purposes of this exercise.

Fouts' San Diego teams won 57 percent of his starts, well above the 41.7 percent expectation based on the Chargers' points allowed in each game. The QB shouldn't get all the credit for the difference, of course, but it could be telling that Brady, Manning, Fouts, Montana, Rodgers, Warner, Elway, Brees, Marino and Young constituted the top 10 since 1978."

And for those that think that Brady is better than Montana, Montana beat your precious great 80s Bears teams, including the '84 team. Shutout 24-0, with Madden and Summerall on the call. Worst loss in Bears history.

That Bears defense would have destroyed Brady, but Montana had their number. Montana was a magician at quarterback.

The 1985 Bears sacked the great Joe Montana 7 times, while allowing just 3 offensive points and 183 total yards of total offense.
