how could anyone have watched both games yesterday and come to the conclusion that the eagles will be destroyed by the patriots? they just decimated the vikings, who had a better defense than the pats.

The Vikings defense was overrated. It's why I picked the Saints last week but Brees made some errors in the first half and God stepped in to help the Vikings.

No rage. They had the best scoring defense in the NFL this year and the best third down defense in the NFL in 27 years. They were terrible yesterday, but that doesn't just erase how good they were throughout the regular season and how wrong you were on that.

Vikings didn't really play MANY good to decent offenses during the season and capitalized off of teams with major injuries or that were just flat out bad on offense.

That seems like too many things had to go their way for that to be a true statement.

Rhodes is easily a top 3 corner in the NFL....and they have two nice rushers in Hunder and Griffen. But they have zero pass rush up the middle. They never really replaced the production from Shariff Floyd. And outside of Barr(who is up and down himself) I'm not impressed with their linebackers. That's what Philly did, they stayed away from Rhodes and chewed them in the middle. That's why I was never sold in Minny's D.
