Lebron was a really good defender for awhile and during those years I really thought he might surpass MJ. But at a certain point he just decided he was not going to defend anyone. When that started to happen I knew MJs place was not going to be taken.

It's that thinking that makes someone believe Brees is nearly as good as Tom Brady.

He's trying to do too much and it seems like everyone except Kelce has taken a step back. Including the coaches.

That offensive line is garbage, as I believe they don't have a single starter back from last year.

He got paid, school friends and relatives coming out of the woodwork asking for loans to fund their armadillo racing startups and whatnot. Mahomes seems exceedingly tolerant of his friends and family's shenanigans, based on those intrusive tiktoks his brother and wife post

Any quarterback that starts to get hit some gets gun shy. You start hearing things that may not be there.

Traded for a tackle who's primarily a run blocker and Thuney has been disappointing. Shocking thing is that they seem to be getting worse when you'd think they'd be gaining continuity.

And feeling like he has to play heroball doesn't help.

Mahomes numbers haven't generally been bad, but he's not the freak of nature we were used to watching. I wouldn't be surprised if his family dynamics and Reid essentially losing another son is playing a major role in their mediocrity. They're still hard to bet against.

Michael Irvin has it right. Until they can put up 40, there are always gonna be questions.

Yeah they been freaking out for a couple weeks. They thought they were the next Pats/Brady situation where they just roll into the playoffs every year and win several championships. Does not appear to be the case

They've been in the AFC championship game 3 years in a row and very possibly win 3 SB in a row if Tom Brady had retired. I wouldn't panic yet. The division is starting to come back to them as well.

THat is a good point Nas, if they can convince all the other good players to retire they should be good to go

Chiefs basically had the Pats beat, and then some idiot jumped offsides. They easily could have played in 3 straight Super Bowls.

True, look at how they beat the Packers. A blue print for winning the next Super Bowl.

Brady also got the ball first in overtime. There was no chance he wasn't going to score a touchdown to end the game.

A regression like this doesn’t happen without reason.

I’m going to guess either injury, new born baby issues, or long covid.

Could be a combo of these too.

We’ll see how he bounces back.

GOATS always do.

yes nobody in the history of the NFL wins a game with 13 seconds left from the 25.

Burrow is going to cuck Mahomes right out of this goat nonsense.

We’re in a post Tiger PGA scenario. Every good young QB is the goat now.

Mahomes had zero to do with the final 13 seconds of the game yesterday. Even Justin Fields could’ve completed those passes the way the Bills played defense

Completely disagree. The play that set up the FG was modified by Mahomes and Kelce right before the snap. Mahomes yelled "DO IT" to alert Kelce that it was okay to change his route. You also have to have the ability to be calm under that type of pressure.
