Mahomes numbers haven't generally been bad, but he's not the freak of nature we were used to watching. I wouldn't be surprised if his family dynamics and Reid essentially losing another son is playing a major role in their mediocrity. They're still hard to bet against.

Completely disagree. The play that set up the FG was modified by Mahomes and Kelce right before the snap. Mahomes yelled "DO IT" to alert Kelce that it was okay to change his route. You also have to have the ability to be calm under that type of pressure.
