"Sport's important for lots of people for lots of reasons, not just the economics of it but to bring people together in a sense of community, sense of togetherness, et cetera, and a sense of purpose that they can join in together with. So I think there will be football."

Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank seems to think so! Anyone who ever criticizes taxpayer funded stadiums in anti-American and should be jailed!

I think it will ultimately be the players who really push to get back on their respective pitches.

Well with MLB and the NBA looking really precarious it may actually come down to the NFL to save us all.

yes, but we're not saved on unless it's games with fans in stadiums. Playing an NFL game in an empty stadium is just silly.

No college football.

The NFL will play. Even if it means starting on Thanksgiving Day and playing into April.

Zero chance that happens. There will be at best reduced capacity for fans at games. More likely is they play with no fans.

College football will happen. The while country has to shut down for a year for it not to happen.

Yeah coaches can be dying on a weekly basis and there going to plow ahead. If there is one league that will not cave to any type of pressure it is the NFL. I mean you probably will have teams have guys test positive for Corona and they will hide the results so they can play.

I don’t think think so. Basketball is coming back. Baseball is a weird, unique situation. The nfl owners and players are both highly incentivized to have the season. They’ll have it.

Players want zero preseason games no 11 on 11 in practice. How the fuck do you prepare for a real NFL game without going 11 on 11? I can not imagine going half line at the pro level would get much accomplished.

Meh, everyone complains about the tackling and rust and other shit that happens with fewer practices and what will happen with less preseason games, but no one's going to stop watching.

Stafford is a big name. He’s been overrated but he was probably the best qb in the North last season.

His wife was almost dead last year. I believe she had cancer. He really had no choice.
