How did he allow his wife to put him in the hospital? He didn't even need to hit her to prevent it. NFL players will never allow him to live down getting hospitalized because his wife was punching him.

Mrs. Gondrezick-Haskins comes from it naturally. She was a multi-all-state basketball player over here, a can't miss prospect who missed at several colleges, and quit the game after concussion issues. Her Dad played in the NBA for a bit, and her Mom had a similar career back in the 80's. Both have been local high school coaches, known for fanatical on-court rants and roasting the officials. This event is hardly surprising.
