Should be a great off-season with all the potential QB movement and cap casualties.

Lions expected to trade Matthew Stafford before Super Bowl

So the Bears will try to trade with a team who has an average QB and then gets Stafford or possibly Watson.

Ryan Tannehill, Alex Smith, Jimmy Garoppolo, Sam Darnold, Drew Lock, Derek Carr. Who do you like?

So the Rams downgraded at QB, and gave up 2 1st rounders..nice work

My assumption is he was viewed as a negative asset in the deal.

Better than Goff. The argument would be is giving up two first worth getting rid of Goff contract?

Of course it is. Just not enough of one to make any difference and the rams fucked their entire future for it

Possible they were bidding against the 49ers--either outbid the Niners or have to deal with a Stafford led 49ers team in their division.

Post subject:  Re: 2021 Offseason

It’s hilarious how quickly Stafford went from underrated to overrated. Oh no, how will a team ever deal with a Matt Stafford led team in their division?!?!

Post subject:  Re: 2021 Offseason

Stafford is big time over rated. I don't get why people think he's the cats ass. He's Tony Romo. Good stats, doesn't win anything

Post subject:  Re: 2021 Offseason

difference btw stafford on a franchise that's so inept they've won 1 playoff game in 60 years and chased barry sanders and calvin johnson into early retirement along the way due to their franchise ineptness vs a team that's 2 seasons out from SB appearance (something the Lions have 0 of in their history). It's not Stafford alone making the Rams a contender -- the Rams without Stafford were good enough to win as many playoff games this month as the Lions clocked in the last six decades.
