Ryan Leaf was not projected as a future #1 pick in the NFL from his Freshman year on, he also didn’t have the success or credentials heading into the draft that Trevor had.. so I don’t agree here.


But.. Leaf currently holds the title I’d say. However if Lawrence busts.. my goodness he’ll be the golden standard for it. I don’t even think he can be surpassed either, maybe equaled, but not surpassed
