Dallas still seems worse than they should be. This is probably the most I’ve watched them this year and the offense is loaded but seems underwhelming against a mediocre giants team. D plays well but they’re up against Long Neck Glennon so I put no stock into it.

If they can gel a bit I’d still like them to come out of the NFC but not much time left for that.

Cam Newton just threw one of the worst interceptions I’ve ever seen.

Harbaugh is so dumb. Take half the quarter and no points.

Did I see correctly where a Ravens loss puts them out of the playoffs for now ?

It doesn't help when your qb is as soft as baby shit.

I've asked this before: is Huntley a better QB than Jackson in 2021?

Do not go for 2. Tie and go to OT. Hope you win the coin toss. Your D sucks but so does GB's.

What a horrible 2 pt play. At some point the metrics will change with all of the teams going for 2 and on 4th now.

Just stupid. That's two games Harbaugh lost because of "aggressiveness". Almost as bad as what the Chargers did against KC.

When he started the rollout to the sideline the DB took off immediately to where Andrews was leaving a WR wide open in the back of the endzone and it was a terrible throw

And they aren’t even good at 2pt conversions. Think that makes them 2 for 8.

You stop being the smartest guy in the room when you lose games because of “ metric” decisions real quick .

The Chargers Chiefs game last week was way more egregious.

Gotta think there’s eventually a market correction and another “new way of looking at it”

Yes, and that new way is called "common sense".

I dont think its common sense really. Its a pretty interesting debate.

Yes I'm not saying go for the FG all the time but Harbaugh's two two point conversions st the buzzer then most of what the Chargers coach did were just dumb. And to avoid accusations of hindsight bias I thought the way at the time and would still think the same way if they won.

As a GB fan I was happy to see the Ravens go for 2. I liked our chances of ending it there. But its basically a 50/50 call either way - like playing a 1 on 1 basketball game to 11 vs playing it to 1

I see situations like that as follows:

Go for 2:

Succeed and win: optimal
Fail and lose: worst case

FG

Tie and go to OT and win the toss: next best
Tie and go to OT and lose the toss: not ideal but tolerable

So to me at the end of the game you go with the ties because in both cases you're not exposed to the worst case scenario.

Ties are very rare even with the rule change that shortened OT.

I think its truly a gut call. With a guy like Harbaugh you roll with it cuz he has skins on the wall that prove his mettle.

By tie I meant kick the xp to tie the game and head to OT.

Why is losing in OT more tolerable than losing on the 2 pt? That makes no sense to me

There is no automatic loss in any scenario except for when you go for 2 in the Ravens-Packers scenario.

Worst call in the Chargers game was kicking the EP to go up 8 instead of going for two and potentially going up 9 late in the 4th.
