Even the Raiders coach didn’t make the optimal choice. While the chance of a blocked FG is small, a knee is 100%.

Unless he was choosing Cincy over KC.

If no timeout they weren't going to kneel. They were going to run the ball. I concede the timeout was dumb and I don't understand why it was called. But if they wanted to get ball back they call the timeout with 1:15 at end of 2nd down play, not :38

Wow….

4:30 left in the 4th, and the Raiders up 15, i went to bed happy that the Steelers made the playoffs. Looks like i missed a little excitement.

Boomer brought up an interesting angle why the Raiders played for the win...Bisaccia was doing a solid for Tomlin since they are friends from back when they both coached under Gruden at Tampa.

He said he called it because he knew the next play would be a run and he wanted to make sure they had the right personnel on the field to defend against it. As it turns out they didn't do a good job in that regard but I don't fault the logic.
