Pizza Hut is my favorite of the big chain pizza places, so this is a dark day for me.

If you live in Chicagoland, you should not be eating any of that crap.

Yeah when I’m back in northern IL it’s World Famous or Sam’s pizza all day, but I don’t live there so sometimes I have to slum it with the name brands.

I thought Papa John was the NFL’s chain pizza man.

Papa John couldn’t disassociate from the N word so he got replaced a couple years ago.

Sometimes it’s nice buying a $5 chain pizza instead of dropping $35 on Pizanos.

I didn’t even know Pizza Hut had a limited time tavern style pizza called the Edge they released a few years ago that was really popular.

It is strange these chain restaurants can’t implement a good full time tavern style pizza on their menu.

Also, Tavern > Deep Dish

We've grabbed a $5 Hot n Ready on the way to the Thunderbolts game before. Its nothing spectacular, but for five bucks its fine to have a slice or two with a couple of beers before the ballgame.

I like the Pizza Hut pan pizza. Don't order it very often at all, but once in a while it can hit the spot.

Papa Johns is terrible and I would rather have a gas station/vending machine sandwich.

I’m a BIGFAN of Pizza Hut original crust, and the Spicy Lover’s pizza they had earlier this year was pretty good as well.

Not a big advocate for the $5 hot and ready, but I will eat it.

My wife prefers Domino’s for some reason out of the chain restaurants.

I’ve soured on our local Papa John’s because every time they have a limited time specialty pizza the dumbass kids working there fuck it up.

We had a coupon for $5.99 Dominoes medium pizzas about 3 weeks ago. We had a couple kids over in the yard so we figured that was a good, cheap lunch for them. I picked it up so it was fresh and it was much better than I expected. Still doesn't compare to the few local places we generally order from, but given the situation with having to feed a few kids age 7 and under, I'd go with that again.

I used to hit up the Jet's on 75th/Lemont every couple of months for a $5 lunch, two slices and a 20oz Diet Coke. Perfectly serviceable albeit greasy as hell.

My teenage son had some buddies over so we ordered the cheese stuff crust pepperoni. Not bad, but not sure it was “official” cheese in the crust. Weird thing is (and Dominos and PH the same), it’s horrible reheated the next day.

If we have a ton of the kids’ friends over, can’t go wrong with a bunch of $5 Little Caesar’s.

I used to grab a Little Caesars pizza when my sons had been outside playing all morning. Every so often I'd have a slice. For five bucks and two happy kids and a friend or two, it worked.

Haven't thought about one in 15-17 years.

There is no bad pizza outside of St. Louis style pizza, but Papa Johns really tests that theory.

Any version of Detroit style pizza. It’s like somebody decided to combine all of the worst elements from various pizza styles and name it after America’s most unfortunate city.

Clearly you have never had Bob's Pizza Plus in Montana. I felt terrible making that stuff and having to pass it off as actual pizza.

I like Papa John's garlic sauce, My kids like their cheese sticks. Detriot style isn't terrible every once and awhile. Jets was fine especially for out of town consumption. I don't know why, I can't do Ceasar's or Dominoes. I'd rather have a frozen one at that point.
