Cool. Lamar put up 10 points in the second half.

This is like the baseball argument about wins and losses for pitchers. Lamar put up 34ish but his defense gave up 42, 28 of which were in the fourth. Could he have orchestrated longer drives in the fourth to keep Miami off the field? Yes. But preventing TDs isn't his job, scoring TDs is. And he scored more than enough to win if the defense was competent. I guess you know where I land on the W L argument.

After they went up 35-14 in the 4th quarter, the offense went 3 and out , turned it over on downs , kicked a field goal, last drive ran out of time. Not exactly salting the game away when they had the chance. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. I agree in principle though, he sure looked great while losing the game.

Your last sentence makes sense if was playing CB or safety. Was he?

He put together a great stat line. When they needed him and the O to eat clock or keep scoring he managed a field goal on the last 3 possessions. Don’t tell me what you hit , tell me when you hit them.

Uh oh t.v. stupid is already in full effect. ESPN's Steve Levy just claimed that the NFL has never seen a running back like Derrick Henry.

I guess the talking head never heard of Earl Campbell...or Jim Brown.

I'm not ready to put Tua in Canton....I just know that I thought for sure the guys was going to be a complete bust in the NFL.

Yes, the Ravens laid down defensively. Yes....he has A LOT of help around him. Still....he's doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing and he looks like he belongs on an NFL roster as a starting QB.

That is the same argument bear fans would lay out and Blame the Defense when the Bears D gave up 16 points and forced 3 turnovers.

And it’s legit. Sometimes even when they’re playing great the whole game, the team needs the D to make a stop. A pitcher needs to make a pitch after an error , not give up a HR to the next hitter and lose 2 to 1. “ but they played great otherwise “ is a losers lament . It’s how people thought Quintana was good.

Henry is much bigger than Brown..plays 16 games now 17 against Browns 12..and against much larger dudes. Campbell had 5 years.. wonder if Henry can put together a couple more years or is he done.

Bills have passed for 36 yards so far three minutes into the 1st. That's 51 percent of the yards the Bears generated through the air all game last night.

Thanks, Poles.

Because it’s statistically better than being under center .

He's not oblivious, he's a hateful jackass. He knows why he doesn't like Lamar Jackson. It's the same reason he didn't get on Carr's team for blowing a late lead.

I’m surprised Eagles Vikings got the A team announcers over Buffalo.

Still not a big fan of Hurts but he’s got a ton of talent around him.

He's throwing much better this year. Stronger and more accurate imo.

Gms in Philly and Miami surrounded their young QBs with talent. Ryan Poles took the road less traveled.

Injuries happen, but we can hand the Bills the Super Bowl trophy.

First of all, bench Allen and Diggs.

Second of all, it must be so demoralizing for what's now a fringe playoff team like the Titans, just two years or whatever separated from a championship game, to know they're miles behind where the Bills are.

Undervaluing the QB position will only allow you to get so far.

I think I'v found a QB who's worse than Fields: Case Keenum.

They couldn't ride Henry forever. They also overpaid Tannehill and wasted capital on Julio Jones. Other than the running back position, the Bills have gotten just about everything right.

Still don't understand why Elway passed on Allen. Elway even trucked to Boise or wherever to watch Allen light up a MAC team in Allen's final college bowl game. And Denver still needed a QB post-Manning.

Image

Jets gonna Jet and the Browns will never get it completely right.

NFL teams with high draft picks right behind the Jets should swap with the Jets in exchange for extra draft capital and let the Jets clear out the bad QB with the higher pick. No one can say for sure who is good, but we know whatever QB the Jets draft will be bad.

MANY thought Allen was awful. MANY weren't sold until last year.
