These Thursday games are terrible in general. Throws teams weeks off; no time for game prep; barely enough time to recover.

Better team won but...is Jalen Hurts a fumbler? Looked like Houston was on to something trying to get that ball out of his hands all night.

A couple of fat boys in the middle (usually you can find these guys every year on the FA market)...1 elite edge rusher....good linebackers(but you usually don't have to spend big there) and an really good corner.

Need a bad MFer at nose for a 3-4 .. I'd prefer a 3-4, it's more aggressive and easier to confuse qbs.

I'm not sold on Williams as a DC.

But the more Bears games I watch, it becomes readily apparent that rookies are getting opportunities on defense to see if they fit into the Bears, (Poles) long term plan.

Urlacher was great but you need a nose.. lot of fast athletic mlbs can drop back after every snap if they don't hand the ball off.. it was criminal how badly Urlacher was wasted on that defense. Any defense would be great with that talent.
