Football at 8am every Sunday would be cool but it would probably water down the league and cause more injuries. What say you?

It's inevitable. Supersonic airplanes will be everywhere by end of the decade. American Airlines have 20 on order already.

No. The league is too watered down as it is. I also don’t see where the kind of profits come in to justify more than a couple of novelty games a season. Frankly I don’t care for the 8am Sunday games anyway. They are as crappy as the Thursday night games imho.

Plus the idea of teams in Mexico and Canada make more sense and that’s not happening either.

Nooooooooo no no no no no no no. Toronto couldn't even sell out the SkyDome for NFL games and they think they can crack Dusseldorf? The whole Europe thing is an illusion, I'm pretty sure.

I was in Hawaii one year during the Super Bowl and it was pretty fucking weird having it on in the middle of the day.

What in the hell is going to stop it? The Germans broke internet traffic records trying to get tix to the Munich game. Polls show it's now their 2nd favorite sport. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the NBA beats them to it.

Ok let the NBA try it. Their ratings can’t be very good until the playoffs. 82 regular season games vs 17 for NFL. I know a lot of people aren’t working but I’m sure they aren’t starting their day with some extra watered down pro hoops action in the morning.

It's solved by the time of the new division in 2030.

Doesn’t solve jet lag, 8hr flights from the west coast, tax liabilities, Putin, Visa issues, etc.

pfft. I'm pretty sure the billionaires will cut through the red tape. West Coast once every 3 years? Make it a road trip, give Europe 2 bye weeks, whatever. It's gonna happen. In 2 sports. Europe is figuring out soccer sucks. it will die a baseball death. How can it not?
