Exactly . Unlike Caller Bob, NFL GM’s don’t base whether or not they’re keeping their players based on one game .

I agree with you. But the giants were overmatched all over the field. Jones had a bad game, he missed a couple wide open shots. They were still losing. I’m just glad the nucleus of the team got to sniff the playoffs and hopefully learn from it. This will be a VERY different team next year. Jones is a good qb. Not great, but he has earned a contract. It’s a fucking miracle this roster made the playoffs. He was a major reason why they did.

Nah, they knew what they were offering him before today. Had he played lights out for one or two more games it would have only gone up. He’s not getting punished for a bad game in an unlikely playoff appearance.
