Aside from the heinous officiating, the NFL dropped the ball on the incomplete pass to Davonte Smith that was ruled a catch. There is a league official who reviews plays immediately for obvious errors (and has access to all camera angles) and should have halted the game instead of requiring Shanahan to challenge.
