I think if I were Houston, I'd draft Will Anderson at #2 and see where the draft went. Trade up from #12 if something breaks favorably for a QB. If not, Hendon Hooker should be there with the second round pick and they have time to let him rehab.

Problem is that Hooker is 40.

Anthony Richardson makes the most sense for Houston or Seattle and the least for Indy. Assume Panthers did not trade so much draft capital for such a project and they choose Young. Indy should be looking to trade to #2 to take Stroud or Levis.

Everyone also seems to have the Card sticking at 3 and I think there is no way they don't trade out of it. I'd love to see the Jets move up and screw the Packers. I think its more likely the Raiders or Falcons. Assume the Falcons want to see more of Ridder, and the Cards go back to #7.

1. Young- Panthers
2. Stroud- Colts (trade with Texans)
3. Levis- Raiders (trade with Cards)
4. Richardson- Texans
5. Anderson- Seahawks
6. Witherspoon- Lions
7. Gonzalez- Cards
8. Njigba- Falcons

I think Njigba restores the value he lost during a dead season after he runs his 40 at his pro day. His other combine skills were elite and probably more important than even the 40.

I have the Lions taking the #1 CB, whoever they think it is. All three of the top three are all just that good.

The Card pick was a little iffy with Carter and Wilson on the board. Gonzalez is more of a sure thing than either of those.

That leaves Carter or Wilson for the Bears, which would be just a phenomenal situation for them.

If I hadn't seen him play football, Anthony Richardson would be my pick if I were the Panthers.

My goodness does he look impressive when he isn't facing competition.

Not directed at GD but I'd love to see data on the ratio of supremely athletic QBs comparing their measurables to actual NFL production. I saw the Richardson throw aimed at the ceiling and I failed to understand the relevance of it and why the talking head types were playing it over and over as if it were on par with Jordan's game-winning shot against Utah. The best QBs prior to Mahomes were utterly unathletic 95% of the time - Manning, Brady, Favre, Brees, and so on. Kind of feel like vomiting whenever QBs are asked to display their capacity to jump 12 feet in the air to dunk a basketball while throwing a TD pass at the same time. It's like who cares, bro, I just wanna know if this punk can read defenses presnap and get the ball to the right receiver, even if that receiver is like three yards away from him. Not trying to have my WR1 run a route to the ceiling where Richardson can get him the ball.

Richardson hitting the ceiling in that bubble was the most impressive QB anecdote since Brady Quinn benched more than most linemen.

Vegan is right. Don't let the circus acts sway you. Richardson is a multi year project.

Edit: He looks like a more physically gifted Justin Fields with significantly less experience.

I would trade out of the pick if all I had left at QB was Richardson. Much prefer Stroud or Young if I need a QB this year.

What makes you think the lions are set on corner at 6?

I'd like to know this as well.

Dan Campbell has recently given the impression that Detroit is seriously interested in Carter. It's hard to imagine that Dorsey would pass on Carter in this spot.

I like Skoronski best, I think Paris Johnson is good too but Skoronski looks to be a can't miss guy. Hope the Bears land one of em.

I have my eye on Blake Freeland from BYU for OT at one of those 2-3 round picks

I wouldn't necessarily pass, but you have to acknowledge a T-Rex when you see one.

I think you guys reach too much on this arm length horseshit, You'd have put joe thomas at guard too.

As far as Gabriel is concerned, that dumb fuck didn't draft well, he's not any semblance of a so called expert.

This would be a mistake unless the offer is ridiculous. You can't start with the first pick and then end up trading back to the point where you aren't getting a top impact player. They made a great trade already - now top it off with a potentially great player in the number 9 spot.

Yep...at #9 they will be able to pick a player who will start THIS season. They desperately need difference makers. I don't see another trade down.

The Eagles are expected to take either Carter or Robinson if they fall to 10. If the top three non-QB on the Bears board are still there at 9, dropping back to 12 and trading with Houston isn't the worst thing in the world. Maybe trade 9 and their 3rd for 12 and 33.

The OTs don’t seem to be thought of all that differently. If Carter goes ahead of them and a trade back to the teens is available, I’d think they could do it and still get a starting tackle.
