I could t believe he got a second chance. Sure wasn’t his sparkling personality or prior success that helped him.

I think he was trying to step out of Al's shadow. He had Ed Dodds who had Harbaugh it was a done deal. Both got their first NFL jobs with Al. I think he got a little full of himself hopefully this disaster brought him back down to earth.

It was really a 3rd chance. What he did to the Colts should have prevented him from being hired.

It's not like the Bears have been any better though. McDaniels was a hire you make to swing for the fences. He failed and should be done as a head coach anywhere now though.

I don't know if he would come. Its a rebuild situation now where before the team was basically in place with players that would have fit in with his coaching style.

Brandon Stokley told a story where he got caught with a dummy car when he was in Denver. He would show up in the morning with his real car and park in his spot. Then he would leave in afternoon in the dummy car. His assistants would leave the building then see his car sitting there and go back to work thinking he was still in the building. Then later that night he would return and switch them back. He's a clown.
